Terms of Service

Article 1 Purpose
These Terms are intended to set forth the conditions and procedures for using the fortune service (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by "Cheok Cheok Fortune" (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), as well as other matters necessary for such use.

Article 2 Notice and Effectiveness of the Terms
1. These Terms become effective by being posted on the Service screen or otherwise made known to users.
2. The Company may amend these Terms when it adds new services for users or when there are significant reasons arising from Company policy. Such amendments shall take effect in the same manner as set forth in the preceding paragraph.

Article 3 Matters Not Set Forth in the Terms
Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, and other relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea, as well as common business practices.

Article 4 Formation of the Service Agreement
1. By clicking the "Agree" button when applying for use, the user shall be deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
2. The service agreement is formed when the Company accepts the user's application for use.

Article 5 Sharing of User Information
1. User information may be shared when the Company enters into partnerships, acquisitions, divestitures, or mergers with other businesses.
2. In order to improve the quality and scope of the services it provides, the Company may enter into partnerships with professional content providers or business operators in various fields to offer customized services, events, internet shopping services, communication services, insurance through call centers, statistical analysis, market research, and other services to users of the Service. In such cases, with the user's consent, the Company may provide its business partners with a limited scope of personal information, such as the user's name or address, that is collected during Service use and required for providing the relevant service.
3. Users may withdraw their consent to the collection and use of personal information provided to the Company at any time.
4. If any of the circumstances in paragraphs 1 or 2 arises, the Company must notify the user of that fact.

Article 6 Use of the Service
The Company aims to provide the Service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However, the Service may be temporarily suspended, either after prior notice or without prior notice in cases of force majeure such as natural disasters, due to regular inspections, equipment maintenance, service interruptions caused by telecommunications carriers under the Telecommunications Business Act, or other similar reasons.

Article 7 Ownership of Copyright
Copyright and other intellectual property rights in works created by Cheok Cheok Fortune belong to Cheok Cheok Fortune.

Article 8 Restriction on Use of the Service
1. The Company may terminate the user's service agreement or restrict the user's use of the Service for a certain period without prior notice in any of the following cases:

① Where the user misappropriates another person's personal information, such as a mobile phone number or date of birth
② Where the user is involved in criminal acts
③ Where the user acts against public order or good morals
④ Where the user damages another person's reputation or causes disadvantage to another person
⑤ Where the user disrupts sound use of the Service, such as by causing harm to the Service
⑥ Where the user otherwise violates relevant laws and regulations


Article 9 Termination of Agreement, Payment Cancellation, Refunds, etc.
1. If the Company is unable to provide a content service purchased by the user due to technical problems or other reasons, it shall notify the user of the reason and promptly cancel any payment that was made in advance for the content service.
2. If a paying purchaser submits a request through an error inquiry or by email, and the request falls within a cancellable case, the Company shall promptly cancel the payment. Cancellable cases are as follows.

① Where no more than 7 days have passed since payment
② Where there is no viewing history
③ Where a normal result was not produced due to incorrect information
④ Where the provided service materially differs from what was described
⑤ Where the user could not receive normal service due to any other error


Article 10 Obligations of the Company
1. Unless there is a reason under Article 6 or another special circumstance, the Company shall enable the user to use the service requested by the user.
2. The Company is obligated to provide the Service continuously and stably in accordance with these Terms.
3. The Company shall not disclose or distribute the user's personal information to any third party without the user's consent. However, this shall not apply where required by telecommunications-related laws or other relevant laws and regulations, or where there is an urgent need to protect an individual's safety.

Article 11 Obligations of the User
1. The user is responsible for the management of the user's mobile phone number and password.
2. The user may not transfer, lease, or lend the user's mobile phone number or password to another person without the Company's consent.
3. If the user's mobile phone number is used improperly, the user must notify the Company of that fact by email or other means.
4. The user must comply with these Terms and all matters prescribed by relevant laws and regulations.

Article 12 Compensation for Damages
In connection with the Service provided, the Company shall not be liable for damages suffered by the user, except where such damages are caused by the Company's gross negligence.

Article 13 Disclaimer
1. The Company shall be exempt from liability for providing the Service where the Service cannot be provided due to force majeure, including natural disasters or equivalent events.
2. The Company shall not be responsible for the reliability, accuracy, or other aspects of information or materials posted by users on the Service.
3. The user shall bear all responsibility for damages arising from negligence in the management or use of the user's mobile phone number and password, or from unauthorized use by a third party.
4. If the user violates Article 8 or any other provision of these Terms and the Company becomes liable to the user or a third party, thereby causing damage to the Company, the user who violated these Terms shall compensate the Company for all damages suffered and shall indemnify the Company against such damage.

Article 14 Court of Jurisdiction
If litigation is filed in connection with a dispute between the Company and a user arising from use of the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall have jurisdiction.

Supplementary Provision
(Effective Date) These Terms shall take effect on July 23, 2025.
